# Filtering data

Column search allows you narrow down your selections by a specific dimension and focus on more detailed data. 

To search by a specific dimension, follow these steps:

1. Click on the search icon for any dimension column

2\. Search for a specific dimension value

3\. The Qommentary Table extension will now display data with the selection applied
