# Sorting data

Column sorting allows you to rearrange data in ascending or descending order. By default, the table will display data in the sort order determined by the extension properties.

You can also disable sorting for the whole table or for individual dimensions via the properties panel.

To apply sorting to a specific column, follow these steps:

1. Click on the column header

![](/files/-Mbu_WfW5tI1J2xN63gW)

2\. The table data will be sorted in the opposite direction

![](/files/-Mbu_amyRIBGKU-MElBn)
