2\. Expand the *Input fields* section and field you wish to add placeholder\
3\. Scroll down to the Placeholder text property\

4\. Enter the hint text you wish to display in the filed\

5\. Enter an expression which would a return value based on given condition

Working with field-level expressions provides greater flexibility and control to apply complex conditional calculations referencing more than one input field at a time.

**Examples:**

`=if(('col.Reports') = 'True', 'Please enter details of Reports here', 'Wait for Reports')`\
displays the placeholder text for field as '`Please enter details of Reports here`' if the Patient Reports are ready or '`Wait for Reports`' if Reports are not available.
