# Security roles

The **Pivot Table Admin** role in Qommentary will grant users and groups all permissions related to the Qommentary Pivot Table extension - only for applications which are accessible based on Qlik Sense security rules.

To grant a user this role, please follow these steps:

1\. Open the **Qommentary Admin Console**

2\. Go to **Users**

3\. Edit the user you wish to change

4\. Click on the **Roles** dropdown and select **Pivot Table Admin**

5\. Click on **Save**

You can also add permissions to **Groups** in Qommentary following the same steps as outlined above.
