# Embedding a new extension

The *Qommentary Pivot Table* allows you to calculate, summarize and analyse data to see comparisons, patterns and trends in the data.

With the *Qommentary Pivot Table*, you can pivot dimensions interchangeably between rows and columns with an intuitive drag and drop motion, expand dimensions to drill down further and customize in many different ways. 

To add your first *Qommentary Pivot Table* extension to an application, follow these steps: 

1. Open the application of your choice
2. Click on **Edit sheet** button

3\. Select the **Custom objects** tab

4\. Expand **Qommentary Library** and drag a **Qom Pivot Table** extension to the sheet

5\. Select your desired Dimensions and Measures
