Security permissions

Permissions in Qommentary gives you more access control over Qlik Sense streams, applications or sheets. Once the permission scope is set for users and/or groups, you can assign specific permissions to restrict what actions they can perform in the extension.

The Qommentary Pivot Table extension has the following permissions:

Permission	Description
Create comment	User can add comments to cells
Delete comment	User can delete only their own comments

To grant users permissions to the Qommentary Pivot Table extension, please follow the steps:

1. Open the Qommentary Admin Console

2. Go to Security

3. Select the desired resource from the Resource Directory Tree

4. Add the desired Users and/or Groups to the resource

5. Click on the Manage button under Permissions

6. Select the desired permissions under Pivot section

7. Click on Save
