We’ve added the ability to pin columns in writeback tables, ensuring that important data remains visible while scrolling.
This enhancement improves navigation by keeping key fields, such as IDs or statuses, locked in place for quick reference. It also enhances data entry by maintaining context, reducing errors, and increasing productivity.
With the flexibility to pin only the columns you need, you can create a more customized and efficient table experience.
We’ve enhanced column visibility in the Qommentary Writeback Table, allowing users to show or hide dimension, measure, and writeback columns based on business logic.
Previously limited to writeback columns, this update ensures that only the most relevant data is displayed, improving clarity and focus. Users can tailor views for role-based access, context-specific filtering, and conditional visibility—such as displaying a “Discount” column only when a promotion applies.
By reducing clutter and streamlining data entry, this feature enhances usability, making data analysis more efficient and intuitive.
We’ve introduced cascading dropdowns in the Qommentary Writeback Table, enabling dropdown values to be dynamically filtered based on selections in another dropdown.
This enhancement allows users to create a more structured and intuitive data entry experience by ensuring that selections are contextually relevant. Dropdown values can still be manually defined or sourced from a Qlik Sense dimension, but now, with cascading filtering, users can drill down into their data more efficiently while reducing input errors and improving workflow accuracy.
The Qommentary Pivot Table now supports comment archiving, allowing users to keep their data relevant and up-to-date. With this new feature, comments added at any intersection can be archived, ensuring that outdated or irrelevant information is removed while preserving necessary context and explanations.
Previously available in Qommentary Insights and Qommentary Table, this feature is now extended to the Pivot Table, enhancing data management and streamlining collaboration by keeping tables clear and focused.
